Carol Tekavec's Seminars

Carol Tekavec CDA, RDH is a well-known author and lecturer on practice management. She is one of the few seminar leaders today who focus on both record keeping and insurance management; two topics central to the success of a dental practice. She has appeared at seminars throughout the nation for state and local dental societies, dental and hygiene schools, study clubs and others. She appears frequently at the nation's top dental meetings, such as the Yankee Dental Congress, the Greater New York, the Chicago Midwinter, the Hinman Dental Meeting, and the ADA Annual Session.

She is also featured on the Dental Town and Sullivan/Schein online continuing education sites and has been listed in Dentistry Today magazine's Top Clinicians in CE for many years.

Graduating from dental hygiene school in 1980 from the University of Southern Colorado, she has functioned at the front desk, as a dental assistant, and currently still practices clinically as a dental hygienist in a private general practice. She is a consultant with the ADA Council on Dental Practice, a member of the American Association of Dental Consultants, and a featured presenter for the ADA Seminar Series. With 35 years in the dental field, she is also the president of her company, Stepping Stones to Success.
